Thug Luv
As this 2Pac Friday falls on a Friday the 13th preceding Valentine’s Day, it is appropriate to have some tough, even scary, love featured here, and we do in the form of Thug Luv.
This song opens with Bizzy Bone and 2Pac in the intro, followed by Bizzy Bone’s hard and awesome first verse and 2Pac’s especially hard second verse. Layzie, Krayzie, and Wish Bone round out the remaining three verses respectively in this epic track, which is from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s double album The Art of War, released in 1997 and so 2Pac appeared on it in conventional Friday-the-13-posthumous fashion.
This was the second track of the second CD (titled World War 2), so lots of 2’s involved here for those who like that brand of numerology.
Even though this is a Bone Thugs-N-Harmony song, it features 2Pac prominently and is definitely deserving of this 2Pac Friday honor.
